  1. Barry, your voice is HILARIOUS. Good acting ladies! I like all your references to PLN, Edutopia, and your C4K and C4T experiences.

I agree with you Alissa. It is important to remember that technology should be used as a natural supplement to learning-- not the focus. There are many ways to teach "outside of the box" using art, music, P.E, crafts, and projects. Technology today, has become a great way to display/ produce such learning processes.

Standardized testing, Department of Education (evolution since the 1950's), Educational overhaul, etc. These could all be stand alone podcasts. Be careful not to reach too far into your examples because you don't want your audience to forget the main focus of your podcast.

Over all-- it was GREAT. I liked how expressive everyone was, and you certainly made good points. I can't wait to explore so of the side topics y'all mentioned, especially the change in education since America's peak back in the 50's (as told by Goofy Gartman).

  2. Hey guys this was awesome! I loved the beginning, it was super funny! About standardized testing, I have had a strong opinion about standardized testing ever since I took my first standardized test. I hated it! I didn't feel like the results to my test really showed my ability and my knowledge of the subject. I also understand that there is no real great way to revise the test either. So, teachers just make us learn what we need to in order to pass the test. How fun is that?
